Meet the Attorney: Ed Boltz

Ed Boltz is our partner attorney in North Carolina.
Ed Boltz grew up in the suburbs of Detroit. He made his way to Washington University in St. Louis and graduated in 1993, then moved on to George Washington University in Washington, D.C. for his law degree. He graduated in 1996.
Ed has spent most of his career at The Law Offices of John T. Orcutt in North Carolina, first as an associate starting in 1998, then as a partner in 2011. He has built a sterling reputation, earning a perfect 10 on Avvo, a leading attorney ratings website.
For almost his entire career, Ed has focused on consumer bankruptcies. He has volunteered his time with the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys since 2006, including stints as director and president.
He has dozens of publications and speaking engagements to his name, including several on the topic of student loans. He has testified before Congress twice, once about student loans. He maintains a blog analyzing key bankruptcy cases in North Carolina.
