Meet the Attorney: Amy Wilburn

Published by Tim Dingman on 06/08/2020

Welcome to Meet the Attorney, a series profiling our network of partner attorneys across the country.

Amy Wilburn is our partner attorney in Ohio.

Amy is a woman of many places and professions. She grew up in Oregon, with stints in California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and France. She moved to Washington in 1989 for college, graduating from the University of Puget Sound in 1994 with a BA in French and again in 1995 with a MA in teaching.

After teaching 7th- through 12th-grade French, Amy felt the call of the law and became a paralegal at a Seattle bankruptcy firm. Furthering her commitment to her new field, she enrolled at Seattle University’s law school in 2011 and graduated with her JD in 2014.

Amy has had her own practice since 2015, focusing exclusively on consumer bankruptcy. She practiced in Seattle for four years, then moved to Toledo in 2019 to be closer to her family. She has earned a perfect five-star average review on Avvo, a leading attorney review site.
